Big Girl

I've got stuff to say too!  I did a lot of growing up before we left Bolivia.  Here are some of my big girl moments I really proud of.  

First bath in the big bath tub.  My Mom bathed my in the kitchen sink for over a year!  What's up with that?  This was WAY better!

My Mom found me like this one day.  I had gotten a book and crawled up on the couch all by myself.

Fun Day

Before I tell you about leaving Bolivia, I still have some fun stuff to tell you about before we left.  As you probably read in a previous post, I celebrated by 5th birthday at my school.  But on my actual birthday, my parents let me spend the day with a few of my closest friends.  

We went to my favorite restaurant to eat lunch together after school.

One of the reasons this is my favorite restaurants is because it has this big play area!  Almost like Chic-fil-A.

It also had a trampoline.

Then we made our own canastas (baskets) to hold all the candy from my pinnata.

Next we decorated cupcakes

After the pinnata we did some bowling

Then a movie...are we tired yet?

Long time, no post

It has been a really long time since I've been able to blog.  Our family has been really busy.  We aren't even living in Bolivia any more!  Since my last blog we have been to:

5 YEARS OLD!!!!!

Today I am 5 years old!  I'm so excited to be 5.  My favorite food is pasta and my favorite drink is peach juice.  Illaria is my best friend and I love my school.  I still want to drive airplanes when I get older, which is what I've wanted to do since I was 3 years old.  I am a good helper for my Mom, especially with my little sister Lydia.  

On Fridays we can celebrate our birthdays in my school.  So last Friday I had my party at school and it was really fun to celebrate with all my friends.  Check out all my pictures!

While we were waiting for my parents and teachers to get the room ready, we all waited outside.  I got to sit in the middle of the circle while everyone sang songs to me!

Here is the room...all ready for all the kids!

Everyone came into the room one by one and handed me a present and gave me a hug.

I got to sit at a special table and choose two friends to sit with me.  These are my friends Illaria and Luciana.

Then Tia Balon got our her accordion and we sang some fun songs. 

And we were really silly.

Then it was time to cut the cake!

Then we handed out the canastas.  The boys got Cars canastas...

...and the girls got Barbie canastas.

16 Months

I'm 16 months old already!  Wow, the time is really flying by.  If I don't look much different to you, it's probably because physically I haven't changed a whole lot.  I'm almost 17 pounds...but not quite yet.  But I have been learning a ton of new things and my personality has really taken off.  I'm a pretty social baby and like to be held by just about anyone...as long as my Mommy isn't too close.  She is still my favorite person.  I have 9 teeth now and number ten is coming in as I type.  I'm walking really good now and actually am trying to run, but so far my attempts have left me face first on the floor.  I like climbing on everything, getting into everything, dancing to music, singing (my parents call it screaming for some reason), and laughing with my sister.

Update!!!

Wow.  We are long overdue for an update!  The weeks have been flying by.  As you may already know, we will be moving back to the US soon, so we have been really busy selling stuff, packing stuff, buying plane tickets, organizing rental cars and moving trucks, looking for places to live and schools to go to.  So blogging has taken a back burner for the last few months.  Here's a little bit of what we've been up to.

Our good friends Bill and Ramona came to visit us in Bolivia!

We took them to the Dino museum...I love riding in the Dino truck!

We like going on our roof and flying our kite!

We finally got the kite up in the air...and then it broke off the string and went flying away.  :(

I've gone on a few home visits with my Dad, out in the FH work zones.

Lydia loves being out side and she is all over the place!

We love spending sister time together!
